TPM Studio achieve Full Planning Permission for a new classroom block for Burlington Junior School expanding the existing accommodation from 450 pupils to 600 pupils forming a 5 Form Entry school.

The proposals have been formed and shaped through a rigourous period of review and analysis of the multiple opportunities and constraints presented by the site, the building users, the wider Stakeholders and the wider community beyond.

The proposed scheme that has emerged at the end of this process represents the balance and compromise of all the competing inputs, and is a polite and contextual offering to the School, it’s various Stakeholders, and the wider community.

Planning Permission for the scheme was granted in February 2022, where the proposals were described as “sympathetic, well articulated, high quality and visually attractive”. TPM Studio have been developing the proposals through RIBA Stage 4, with an anticipated start-on-site date during the summer of 2023.
