New Work: Karma Kitchen, West Norwood
TPM Studio have been appointed by Karma Kitchen to deliver their next co-working kitchen at East Place in West Norwood.
The brief aims to sub-divide and fit-out existing industrial buildings to provide commercial co-working kitchen space. The proposals include a new infill extension to connect both buildings and serve as a central servicing bay.
The general approach to the proposals involves the retention of existing building fabric where possible, the reuse of existing materials where practical and the rationalisation of new structure and services as part of a responsible design strategy. This extends to the specification of sustainable and recyclable materials where appropriate.
