Karma Kitchen, West Norwood
The contemporary and sensitive redevelopment of a vacant artist studio complex nestled between the railway arches of West Norwood Station and the town centre.
TPM Studio were challenged by Karma Kitchen to adapt, refurbish and create an architectural identity for their newest commercial co-working kitchen site. The scheme involves internal refurbishment of the existing space including the infill of the existing service yard to connect the two buildings and provide valuable amenity space for tenants.
The use of reclaimed bricks from on-site demolition preserve the local vernacular whilst a complimentary palette of coloured steelwork, recycled plastics and polycarbonate help revive this dilapidated cul-de-sac site into a vibrant co-working kitchen hub to serve the local community.
