Mole Valley District Council
The works at Mole Valley District Council involved the comprehensive refurbishment of the existing building to provide modern and functional work space.
The civic building, originally designed by Michael Innes in the 1980’s, consists of complex geometry and cavernous volumes. The diamond format ceiling which sits above the main workspace is a direct response to the numerous geometrical constraints and roof light apertures.
Light architectural finishes, finely detailed metalwork and strategic lighting lift the internal space whilst enhancing the existing feature brickwork and timber panelling.
